Recap Could this be our Larry Allen? Lance Louis

One non-combine invite who could make a serious splash at his pro day is San Diego State offensive lineman Lance Louis. While he'll most likely project as only a latter round, developmental type prospect, a reliable source told us "the kid is an athletic freak" that could create a buzz as the draft process moves forward -- he's 6' 3", 300 pounds and don't be shocked if he runs a sub-4.8 and bench presses 35 reps at his pro day. Louis has drawn comparisons to a young Brian Waters and we know a few west coast scouts have told him that they hope he remains a secret.

Louis is a former four-star tight end recruit from Louisiana, who began his college career as a Brandon Manumaleauna type, then converted to the offensive line in 2007, after an injury riddled 2006 season. He's played right tackle and left tackle at S.D.S.U., but is probably best suited to play offensive guard at the next level. Also, while Louis lacks experience and isn't real polished, yet, as an offensive linemen, he definitely has a strong work ethic and on-field nasty streak that N.F.L. offensive line coaches should love.

the part i liked was this;

reports were that larry allen when he came out ran about the same 40 yard dash which is good for an offensive linemen whom is 6-3, about 300, while he is strong too at 35 bench press, and still new to offensive line, but has a nasty steak and athletic freak,
