Happy Mothers day to all moms. They are the greatest!

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Nice thread. Big day today CZers. Don't blow it!

I'm making a little fried corn beef hash with grits this morning fir the lovey dove. Dinner is where it's at though.

I'm smoking a prime rib along with some chicken and turkey sausage in the WSM for hours. The prime rib was injected yesterday and has been chillin in the fridge overnight. I'm going to intimately rub it down and let the smoker do the work in a few hours.

Don't forget to call your moms too!! (for those of you focused on the mommy that sleeps with you today)

Kids and I are working on Crepes, Fresh Fruit and Omlettes this morning. For supper, I got Ribs, Brisket, Corn on the Cobb, twice backed potatos, fresh garden salid and Lemon Cake on the menu. This afternoon, we're heading off to see Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. After Breakfast, I'll head over to my Moms and spend some time with my Mother.

We're off and running. To all the Mothers out there, I hope you have a great day. Hope you enjoy every second.

Ok, I admit this picture made me drool a little.

Smoked for 3 hrs thus far. Chicken & sausage coming off. Two more hours on the prime rib (b/c she likes her red meat well/well) & my work is done. Enjoy the evening gentlemen.
