Good morning, Cbz and fellow Zoners. We've started a new softare program at work and you'd think it was the second coming, judging by all the ballyhoo. I will be visiting the dentist in about half an hour, so I will miss the cake that is being served.
Everybody work on having a great day.

ya tired of driving over it or something
Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. These passions, like great winds, have blown me hither and thither, in a wayward course, over a great ocean of anguish, reaching to the very verge of despair....Bertrand Russell

Morning CBZ and all. What are you going to do with the crops you had planted in that dirt, Leon?
Plans for today include making new growing boxes for winecap mushrooms, and inoculating oak limbs with ****ake spawn. Fun!

It was left over from digging a footing for a garage addition. I was saving it for raised flower beds in the back yard and I now have one of them finished. The rest will stay on the driveway until I finish the next one.

I'm trying to get rid of the weed and grass crop. Two large leaf bags full of roots so far.

Good afternoon, Cbz and the same to all you busy folks. Ologan, I don't know any mushroom growers. Is this a business or is it for personal use. I am presuming your mushrooms are of the non "magic" variety. Please forgive me, I am a child of the 60's.
Leon, take care of your back. Don't you have young, strong relatives to do the dirt-moving for you?
In any event, you folks have a great day.

Morning Pops and a good humpday morning to all.
Had a great 5 days off . Hiked, fished, shopped, fished, canoed, fished, had a few beers and fished.
Good to be back though!
You folks have a great day ahead!

Morning Pops, Sarge, Leon, JBob, Phrozen and all.
Sorry to report, Phrozen, but the 'shrooms aren't the type we used to find in cow manure....I'm a child of the 60's myself. They're good old eating type, and so far only for personal use later on when they "flush",or fruit. I went to an organic gardeners school/seminar in Asheville, NC late last winter and one of the classes I took was a half day, hands on workshop on growing Sheetake mushrooms. We'll see how they do, and may want to get other of our community gardeners interested and maybe start a little business out of it.
