Morning Cbz. Morning folks. Is anyone stocking up on candy for the halloween urchins yet? We only had two trick or treaters last year even though the house was decorated and the porch light was on. We had a lot of candy we had to eat by ourselves. Oh darn!

Good morning, Cbz and all Zoners. Leon, we've had as many as 100 kids and aas few as 15, but it has depeded on the weather and the average age of the kids in our neighbourhood. We now purchase treats that my wife can't eat (little cans of Pringle's potato chips - allergic). If we get the stuff she likes, then I have to make a last minute run just before we are scheduled to hand them out.

BTW, I've noticed that we are on page 666 of this thread and we're on the cusp of Halloween. Let's at least get ot the next page before the 31st. not that I'm superstitious or anything.

Morning Cbz. Morning, Folks, and happy Friday! We are at a very tolerable 52 degrees this morning heading to the mid to high 60's. I love fall and spring.

Good morning, Cbz and the same to all Zoners. I went with my fellow staff members (all female) to the local Boys and Girls Club Haunted House after dinner out. What a bunch of wimps. Half of them barely opened their eyes during the trip through and several of them could barely walk after they got out. Much screaming and great special effects. The ghoulish kids conducting the tour were great fun and money was raised for a good cause. I intend to give my co-workers a very hard time at work today. I might hide out in the file room with the lights out at some point in the coming week.

Morning Pop's, Sarge, JB, and all. Stay safe, Sarge, and all in Sandy's way. There's a chance she will loop around once inshore and hook-up with a cold front coming our way to give us.....snow in the southern Apps mid next week. Slight,but a chance.I think that monster storm back in the 90's did just that and trapped a lot of kids hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Really sorta glad "our heros" game is in Texas this weekend. Could be squirrley on the east coast for football this weekend.
