Video: Orlando Scandrick annoyed by reporters
http://www.dallascowboys.com/multime...24BC3CF20B327C
If you've seen Scandrick interviewed at least a few times, you know he always seems annoyed by reporters (and I like that about him... he'll never be an attention-seeker or a victim of a reporter's loaded questions) ...
But this clip takes the cake.
I love how at the end, Steve Dennis tries to lighten the mood but Orlando's having none of it.
This, of course, after Scandrick accuses the reporters of "trying to tear the team apart."

I just watched that this morning. The reporters were also bugging Wade about the depth at CB (or of him keeping the starters name away from reporters). I must have missed something, but their line of questioning does seem annoying.

I'm sure the receivers he's covering have a hard time getting in his head. /sarcasm

I said it during the OTAs....that the Dallas media is going to use Scandrick/Jenkins to replace the drama that left when TO and Pac Man left.....and I commend these young men for staying focused on football

Me too. I thought he handled the stupid questions very well and he restrained himself at the end with the idiot who after all was said done STILL asked the same lame question.
That mediot just proved what Scandrick had said about them.
Captain Nathan Brittles: "Only the man who commands can be blamed. It rests on me... mission failure!"
"Jerry Jones is a billionaire fan who bought his own team for the express purpose of buying his way into the game. He wants to hang out with the players, stand in front of the cameras, be the face of the team (yech), make personnel moves as if this were a video game, and more than anything else, be seen as the guy who made it all happen."

Yeah this is sweet and I like the way he handles himself. Especially how he says the media has been just trying to generate a controversy.

I love me some Scandrick. He put it right out there for the Dallas media. Someone needed to say it. Stop trying to tear the Cowboys apart. It needed to be said last year and is still needs to be said this year. Go Orlando! He's right. Just like he said, we need Jenkins, Scandrick, Newman "and some other guys we don't know about yet. It's a long season." Amazing that a 20-something year old knows more than middle-aged reporters.

The media was trying to stir the pot in the Jenkins interview as well. I love both these guys, they both are ballers and they both seem to have great attitudes.

That was great! He said some similar things to Mickey on the sideline last night.
The attitude of "team first, team first, team first" really seems to be sinking in for all these guys. Which can only be great news for us.

I would love to see an "anti-tabloid" policy put in place for the Cowboys players & coaches. This would mean that any question that is meant to lead to a "tabloid" answer should only be responded to with a "next question".
I couldn't stand Terrell Owens but that was one thing I really liked about him, when he did that with what's-his-face.
Once these mediots get a clue that their stupid and leading questions will NOT be answered they will either resort to making up the answers themselves (as they do quite frequently) or asking better questions. It may take years and cost millions of lives but in the end it is worth it.
