Mickey with The Hardline on The Ticket...
Mickey: - Releasing of Hambritches was mutual
- Hambritches had drastically reduced his workouts
- Knuckleheadedness runs in families
- Cowboys would have taken a conditional 7 more than likely
- Felt he was not gonna get a fair chance to make team
- Would probably have been asked to take a pay cut to $455,000
hmmm... wonder if T-Ham can make $455,000 on the outside world (see knucklehead reference above)...

LMAO
As opposed to Stephen Davis and the Skins where this system was born, this actually makes good sense.
Out of curiosity, I wonder if Skins fans would like to have Davis back with Gibbs in town? They wouldn't have gone after Portis if they did, but they'd still have some added flexibility if they did.

While I love the math, I doubt if our offseason moves excite anybody outside of Cowboy fans.

And Champ Bailey and a second rounder... it still remains to be seen if Portis has the durability to stay healthy in the NFC East... He has talent without a doubt... but plays at around 205 and had injury problems at Denver... and we all know they tailor their system for running backs...

Let Portis get WHACKED twice a year from Dat and Roy all game and he will think he should have stayed out west.
