1) niether high profile Texas player goes top-10 (Benson, Johnson)

2) Mel Kiper will have used 648 cans of hairspray between Friday night and the end of the draft

I hope your right, abair1967

mine is....(abair1967 is right)....and we will take mike williams at #11 or get
one heck of a blockbuster trade out of him...and if we do get a big trade
out of him....we will still get our DE...like SM or DW a few spots down.

Mine is that cowboys will try to target Considine in the same way that we targeted Julius Jones last year.

I woud be happy if the first 3 picks ended up looking like this:
1A) Mike Williams
1B) J.Tuck
2) B. Poole
I would much rather have a D.Ware with that 2nd first rounder, but he just will not fall that far. Therefore i predict a trade down at the 20 spot, and picking up J.Tuck with a late first/or very early 2nd.

I think we go Defense with the first 3 picks
I had an apartment and I had a neighbor, and whenever he would knock on my wall I knew he wanted me to turn my music down and that made me angry 'cause I like loud music... so when he knocked on the wall, I'd mess with his head. I'd say, "Go around! I cannot open the wall! I dunno if you have a doorknob on your side but over here there's nothin'. It's just flat."

Ware has a better shot of falling to 20 than MW does of falling to 11...

That the Cowboys draft Roddy White with their #20... if he falls there.

Or is that just wishful thinking...

That Dallas will trade down from spot eleven and they will trade down from spot 20. To do so, they will secure a number one next year, a number three this year . . . and this is where we get rich for a team that just has to move up, maybe another pick this year in range of third or fourth round and a pick in the four to five round. And, that in doing so, Dallas still retains picks in round one, just much lower for each respective pick.

Stated differently, we move down with each first rounder, and secure extra picks in this year's draft, say a three, and two more picks -- one out of either the second or third round, and, the other one out of the fourth or fifth round. Plus a one next year.

For example, if Green Bay comes calling at our twenty spot, we exchange first round picks for their number one next year. OK, they are not this stupid, but you never know if the right quarterback is there on the board. More likely, we make exchange of first rounders and secure their third and their four this year.

For example, if the Rams want our number eleven so they can draft a left tackle, then we demand a number one next year. We would exchange first rounders this year and then move down eight spots in doing so; for this we want next year's one and something this year like a four.

If the Texans want to move down and ahead of the Chargers or whomever the Chargers might trade to, then we demand the number one next year; if they balk, we can settle for their number three this year and a number three next year.

These amounts might be off but the overall strategy of moving to gain picks is something Parcells will do with a vengence; the difference is he knows what to do with the booty. If you doubt this, go grab a cold one, say Julies Jones, Julies Jones, until you have consumed mass quantities of beverage, then you will sleep like a baby.

I guess I'll predict Jerry gets his Arkansas WR and takes Matt Jones. To do this he will trade down at #20 and add a pick. He will either select Jones with a very late 1st rounder or a high 2nd rounder.

That we don't go WR in round 1.

That we stay at 11 and take either Ware or Merriman.

That we move out of the 20 spot for a 3rd and take Barrett Rudd with that 3rd.

That we take a FS in the 2nd.

and finally...

That we take a RB in round 4.

I sincerely hope not, Hos.
