I love their music but I'm not a fan of the singer. Too much screaming instead of singing.

I can't think of the guitar players name but he can play his arse off.

Tom Morello is the guitar player. He has a great style.

As for Zack de la Rocha. His lyrics on a lot of songs are lacking. They just repeat the same thing over and over again. Having said that, lyrics themselves generally don't mean much to me. The voice is just another instrument in the band for me. I'm a huge Slayer fan.. Well of their first decade anyhow. Specifically the albums Reign In Blood, South of Heaven, and Seasons in the Abyss. A big reason I don't care much for their stuff after Seasons in the Abyss is they stopped singing on a lot of songs and just started screaming without any changing of tone. They sing alot about extremely negative things and satanic stuff though they aren't actually satanic, their more atheist than anything. They just like to sing about the stuff. Most of their music has a spooky feel to it so it just fits.

...actually my .sig is from a Slayer song called War Ensemble off the Seasons in the Abyss album.

Actually, I was trying to post Tom Petty's Mary Jane's Last Dance, but Youtube keeps breaking the work-arounds for the disabled embedded videos. There are live versions on the web, but I hate live versions. The quality is usually piss poor and many artist are garbage live because they don't put forth the effort to make it actually sounds good. Thats not an attack on Tom Petty, but many artist in general.

No, it wasn't political at all, it was humor and it in no way presented any political views. At best, it would have been considered historical with a comedial slant. It just happen to have a political figure as the artist with I do not believe is against CZ policy.

It's dissapointing that it was removed.
