Clayton Just Said...
Cowboys possible trade partners with Bears.
Boys would send #22, a 2nd next year and another pick...
for... #14 and Anthony Thomas.
He says we'd move up for Shawn Andrews.
Hmmmm.....

I can't believe that the Cowboys think that they are better off with Thomas than someone in this draft. If this goes down, there is going to be a part B to this plan. JMO
That's why they play the game

Can't be thrilled about that...
But then again, I hate giving up picks.
A Thomas doesn't thrill be as a back, but I suppose he could improve with a change of scenery.
Also, we could re-coup that 2nd rounder (equal to this years 3rd) with Allen.
Nah, I don't like it. Andrews looks to be a lazy guy.
Of course, I'd have to think that Clayton's sources are not exactly "insiders" He's been completely wrong all off-season!
I'm flip-floppin alot today. I don't have much an an opinion, here. I think I'm worn out from all the pie-in -the -sky specualtion when no-one really knows anything!
15 minutes til the draft!

I actually wouldn't mind that trade. It wouldn't leave us with many picks next year, but hopefully we'll be more active in free agency and we wouldn't have as many holes. Andrews is a better pick for this team than Kevin Jones.

I don't think we'd have to move up that far to get Andrews. If we're going to 14, IMO it's to get an impact defensive lineman. Still can't see us moving up at all, though, but that isn't much of an asking price assuming the "other" pick isn't our second.

Please let this not be the first time John Clayton is right
Andrews has a chance to be very good
A-train= solid
Don't want to lose any future picks.

I don't know why people don't like Thomas. He put up good numbers and almost never fumbles. Sounds like a Parcells guy to me.

This scenario is not my first choice.
Andrews may go higher than most expect. You may have to reach for OT this year as the quality of past drafts is not there.

Ha ha ha ha no thanks.
We've already given up a 3rd rounder for Henson next year, and I believe a 6th for Coleman.
Anthony THomas who's so good they go get Thomas Jones?
Plus another pick?
No.

We already gave up a 3rd next year and highly doubt Jones would do this trade. Can't give up entire 2005 draft.
Don
This trade would make me
