Riley Cooper projections
Does anyone know where he is projected to go? I love his attitude and his work ethic and think he would make a dynamite slot receiver for us-much better than Shipley. His production his senior season in the spread-option offense with Tebow throwing was pretty incredible.
If we went OT/OG in the first, Nate Allen in the second and Cooper in the third, would you guys have fits? Would he even last that long?

He projects in the 5th right now but I would not be surprised to see him settle in the mid to late 3rd.

As Cooper's biggest fan, he doesn't have the short-area explosiveness/quickness to be much good in the slot. With his size and down-field speed, he would be an outside guy. Right now I believe NFLDS has a 5th round grade on him with him rising though. So 4th round would be a good bet for him.

I know what his combine numbers say, but on the field he looks every bit, if not more quick and explosive than Crayton. If we could get him in the 4th-5th I would be ecstatic! There is no way he could play any worse on the outside than Williams.

Ah, I am not a big draft guru and I read a ton of mocks with us taking him there, lol.

I agree. I see him going late 1st-mid 2nd. Hopefully I'm wrong and he falls to our 2nd round pick though, but I wouldn't be opposed to using a 1st on him (depending who's there).

I wouldn't even be surprised to see him go late 2nd like Dexter Jackson did for the Bucs (I think anyways).

If Ford really looks that good in drills, I wouldn't be surprised at high second or early first.
Ivy League

No chance he goes late 1st, but after his workouts today I think he'll go late 2nd to early 3rd. Won't last to our third like many here want. Plus I don't see him on the cowboys draft board or players that there interested in or have talked to, so I don't even think he's on our radar.

A lot of our drafted players are people we don't speak to
I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure.

I thought this myself and almost posted about it earlier. Anyone have the info of our last three or four drafts regarding how many of the players we drafted that we talked to prior to drafting them???
