Default One thing is apparent watching this Super Bowl:

We HAVE to get a LOT bigger on our front 7.

And that's virtually every position on the front 7, save Ellis.

I think the writing is on the wall, the Cowboys will be picking up guys to fill the 3-4. Big NT + Big LBs

Honestly said, I think if our 2004 defense had been on the field for stretches like NE in the 1st half, we would be worn out by the middle of the 3rd quarter.

I'm liking the idea of switching to the 3-4 Defense more and more. The Patriots are getting consistant pressure on McScabb from all directions.

I like the idea of taking Spears or Merriman with our 1st pick, unless of course Mike Williams is there, in which case I would use the next 3 picks for the defensive side of the ball.

With our lack of depth.......absolutely.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

There is a serious case to be made that we should go D with the first 3 picks. OUr front 7 doesn't compare to what we are seeing tonight at all.

From what I see the biggest thing that needs to be taken care of is the refs. The NFL should fire every ref period and start over. Get full time refs and pay them good. Im sick of seein refs tryin to win games for some teams and always havin it out for other teams.

Get some good refs who have no bias. These refs in this SB obviously are doin everything they can to get the Eagles a win here and it is just ruinin the game.

I think you may be correct.

It's going to difficult to implement the 3-4 without bringing in tons of help with respect to the front 7.
