Default Terrell Owens

We Cowboys fans have more reason to not like him than most NFL fans. And while I will cherish seeing glory slip through the Eagles fingers once again. Terrell Owens did earn some points on the respect-o-meter with his come back and performance in my eyes.

Agreed. It's obvious he didn't have the explosion though despite the two big catch and runs he had. If he was full speed I think that big gain in the second half might have gone for a TD. He's still a jerk but I respect that he played and was effective. I doubted he would be any factor at all coming in.

Terrell has always had respect in my book. This is a guy that made a clutch, game-winning catch against Green Bay in traffic in the playoffs to win the game, getting crunched in the process.

He's a goofball at times, but he's a tremendous player. Unlike Randy Moss, this is a guy who pouts some, but does a better job backing it up with games on the line.

He's an ***, plain and simple. If he weren't, he'd be revered by everyone because of the sort of player he is and the sort of heart he has always displayed.

The only thing better than the Iggles losing......the Iggles losing with TO playing and having a good game. :iggles:

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

After today I will have to cancel my membership to the official TO haters club. He has his issues but you have to give the guy props for putting the game and his team above his persoanal well being. Mad props to him.

I was going to post something along these lines......

Our ability to reason, our opposable thumbs, our ability to form complete/coherent thoughts, and our ability to respect an opponent is what separates us from Eagle fans.

I can't stand TO, but by golly he really showed some heart. I disagree with all the folks dogging him for trying to play. How many Super Bowls do you get to as a player?

I don't blame him for playing......just like Jack Youngblood.
