Patchwork offensive line won't prevent Tony Romo from playing Saturday, Phillips says

OXNARD, Calif. - Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said quarterback Tony Romo will play Saturday against San Diego even though the team will be without two starting offensive lineman.
"I feel good about the group we have and I think they will do the job," Phillips said of the club's now patchwork offensive line.
Phillips said the injury left guard Kyle Kosier suffered Wednesday morning is similar to what happened to defensive end Marcus Spears late in camp in San Antonio.

Roy Williams: 'I've been having a good camp'

OXNARD, Calif. - Much-maligned wide receiver Roy Williams is actually having a pretty good camp since the Cowboys arrived on the West Coast. And he suggested he's put it together under intense scrutiny.
"Every day is an evaluation of me," Williams said. "When he throws me the ball, it's 'Is he going to catch it? Is he going to run the right route? Is he going to get it to him?' I've been having a good camp. Nobody has said anything bad about me. I've been flying under the radar, and that's how I like it. Me and the quarterback are good."
