SAN DIEGO — Quarterback Tony Romo didn’t get hurt. Check.

Robert Brewster held his own at tackle. Check.

The Dallas Cowboys finally scored a red-zone touchdown. Check.

The Cowboys’ 16-14 win over the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium late Saturday night was anything but pretty. It was actually pretty harrowing at times on offense and defense.

The Cowboys got nine points in the fourth quarter thanks to a 19-yard touchdown pass from Jon Kitna to tight end Martellus Bennett and a sack and safety by linebacker Victor Butler to seal the victory.
Still it’s obvious the Cowboys still have much work to do before they are ready for the regular season.
