Default StrTgrm: Dallas Cowboys' road show hits low point in Houston

HOUSTON -- The Wade Phillips Traveling Circus hit its low point of the preseason Saturday night.
The show wasn't as close as the 23-7 score indicated.
Phillips' Dallas Cowboys, just passing through on their way home from San Antonio, Oxnard, Calif., and several Dairy Queens in between, again failed to display their Super Bowl mettle Saturday.
In what most teams consider the dress rehearsal week of the NFL exhibition season, the Cowboys had their collective pants taken down by a Houston Texans team that clearly took the occasion more seriously.
Not a large surprise there. Texans coach Gary Kubiak had talked all week about the need to get his team refocused.
The Cowboys? They just wanted to get home.
