Cowboys Need a CB Surtain?

The Star Telegram reports the Cowboys need a cornerback and there are some interesting names available on the NFL market, with New England having released CB Ty Law and Miami looking to deal CB Patrick Surtain. The Cowboys cannot talk about Surtain, and Jerry Jones said they have had no contact with Law.

he has 25 interceptions the past five years.

I'd like to have this guy...especially without having to trade for him. I think when it's all said and done, Miami may end up releasing him outright and we take our chances there instead of giving up draft pick(s) to acquire him.

Being nearly 3 years younger, he definitely has more upside than Law at 31 and coming off a broken foot if you ask me.

He won't be released.....trade with Chiefs is close to happening.....most likely for a 2nd round pick.
