Default Could Gannon Drive The Bus?

Assuming Collins gets the Raiders gig and they cut Gannon, could he drive the bus for a year or two till Henson is ready, at the least he is a better option than Testaverde.

Gannon can do more than just drive a bus. I'll be glad when we get to the point that we actually expect a QB to be a QB and not a bus driver. As we sit here right now that is what we have a bus driver not a legit QB

That may be the same thing Jon Gruden is thinking in Tampa....except he wants him until Simms is ready....plus Gruden/Gannon have a past working relationship so Gannon would know the offense.

I think its obvious if they wanted a vet to come in here and start for a yr or two, they would have signed Collins...Collins is way younger than Gannon, is a downfield passer and is at least familiar with one of the key coaches here...he also has a history of playing well vs Philly

Gannon has zero chance of playing for Dallas

Default Gannon

Wouldn't make it 4 games with his frail old body here.

I'd rather have Brad Johnson but its mute. Quincy likely has the keys again.

Bill put a new engine in to drive the bus faster. He also had the chasis and suspension system tidied up.
Added bigger Seats and added power steering to the bus.

So now if the bus gets stuck in the ditch once again then can we place the blame on the driver or must we endure another offseason of excuses?

Gannon has been QB'ing the West Coast offense for quite some time now. At his age, I doubt he would be interested in learning a new system.

The fact that his old coach is in Tampa Bay and the fact that they are running the same offensive system should bode well for Gannon going to TB.

Throw in the question marks surrounding our Offensive Lines ability to protect the QB.......then we are probably not very attractive to Gannon.

And I doubt that Parcells would be interested in Gannon. He is an aged veteran that has never played under Parcells. Also, Parcells likes to run the ball with play action and keep the safeties honest with the occasional deep throw. By all reports...Gannon does not have the arm strength required for that type of system.

After writting all of this....I would have to say that the odds are 20:1 against Gannon signing with Dallas.

Noticed you're new. Welcome to the forum. I really hope you enjoy it here.

Gannon will go to Tampa and they will probably release Brad Johnson. I don't think Gannon is even an option here.

Default brad johnson & curt warner

both have super bowl winning exp. i woudn't mind brad johnson but i'd stay away from warner. he's body is too fragile. sorta reminds me of danny white in his latter days. brad is seasoned and has a little bit more thread on the radials IMO.

gannon will probably head to tampa giving way for brad to reunite with KJ.

Tony Romo. If Q gets hurt, let the Henson process begin.

Gannons a crybaby that blames everything on everybody else. I'd rather have QC than Gannon. I can't believe I just said that.

Default While Gannon is not allowed in Dallas

He took more than 3 years to become the man at qb funny how that is. I remeber when Gannon use to start for the Vikes and how everyone treated him like QC not saying that QC will ever reach the level Gannon has at this time.

But it is funny how everyone on here is acting like a guy that has played 3 years should be an all pro when Gannon did not become a probowler till like year 7 and he had chances to start other places and did.

Just like Hutch he may still turn out to be a good QB in two years but it looks like he still needs another year of development he was away for 4 years. So do not write off those QB's just yet. There is always hope it just maybe with another team.

Jake Delhoume spent 5 years as a backup getting like 2 starts
