Even though FA is just around the corner, I figured it might be fun to do a thread like this. The idea just came upon me and I hope it will give us something to do as we anxiously await the signing of quality free agents.

Here's the deal, a few hours ago, a phone call was placed into the nearest police department about a man who was beaten and abandoned in a dark alley. (Sources tell me that investigators believe the man to be involved in promiscuous behavior) The man was later identified as none other than our beloved Juke.

Against the urging of the current moderators (Winicki) he must be replaced. Your task is to give a sound (or not if you so choose) argument as to why you believe you should be the next moderator.

After a sufficient amount of people have posted, you may begin to vote for who you would like to see as the next mod. The winner however will not become a moderator, I REPEAT, the winner will not become a moderator.

Disclaimer: The winner will not actually become a moderator.

I would be the best candidate for modulator because of my spelling, my wit, my good looks, because I've been there done that, well you name it ......I would be the best at it. Sorry guys.........I know all of you wanted the job....but remember one thing.........I'll have to band myself.....I would say give me 12 hours. The job will re-open.

hmmmm... and all this time i thought the mods were guys who just happened to draw the short straw.

Well, I've been canned from two other mods' gigs, so I have somewhat more experience than the other candidates...

And of course, being defrocked not once but twice is a tribute to how well I work and play with others... the mods in here have only had to PM me maybe 2-3 times about my inappropriate behavior...

And not once, NOT ONCE, have I called anybody in here a d*ld*... those who know me from the Cowboys newsgroup will appreciate what restraint that has shown on my part...

Bottom line, this board needs a troublemaker as a mod, we're the only ones with a clue how to deal with the troublemakers... in fact, what this board really needs is a SOCIOPATH runnin' things...

It is in pursuit of that goal that I humbly propose myself for the position...

I should be a mod because then I would give everybody mod status ultimately making the geeky privelige of being a mod less geeky than it is now.

See, when you become a moderator though, you get special powers like deleting threads and stuff.
