If he signs with Big D he better rep the Bulls right and not have me disowning USF Aikmaniac.

Wow. This signing was quick. Almost makes you believe that this was the contract that Jerry was talking about when that poster from Indy commented about in that bar he saw Sexton with Parcells and Jerry.
Any numbers on the deal yet?

I think maybe we'd better pace ourselves, or we'll have all our free agency done in about 3 days...
And then, of course, folks in here will be squawkin' about the lack of inactivity in April, May and June, LOL...
Smarter than the av-er-age bear...

kudos to the front office
this was faster than i had hoped! just getting ferguson alone doesn't guarantee we'll be a base 3-4, but to even play it we needed to land a NT first, and thats been done. now we can add a few hybrid types thru FA or the draft. also, running a 4-3 with glover and ferguson on the line seems like a wet dream - those two should team up very nicely! oh happy day!!!!!

Ferguson is a good player but Williams is much better. If Parcells really wants to run the 3-4, he brought in the wrong man. If he wants a 4-3 two-gap DT he brought in a good guy although I'm always leery of guys coming off career years who play beside three Pro Bowl quality DL.

I'm glad to see Dallas jumping into FA with both feet, I certainly like the Ferguson signing he gives Dallas a big body that can collapse the pocket and a very good run stopper.

Nah, he "retired" rich & laughing at Little Napoleon for the idiotic contract! He'll STILL retire rich, again, because he was still pocketing some dough off that contract when he went to the Ravens.

i don't think this is the deal that will determine the scheme.fergy fits either, what we can do in the first rnd will be key, i think they will go with a tweener like merriman at 11 and if they can come up with a 3-4 de that will be key

Good signing, glad it went quick. Hopefully we'll be able to put more pressure on the QB for a change.
I still don't think we'll go 3-4 full-time due to personnel. It will be situational but will become prominent than last season. Maybe we move to it full-time next year once some turnover happens.

Sweet! I normally wouldn't be psyched about signing someone 30 years old...but he's still productive, we have a huge need for him, and many DT's have played well up to their mid 30s.
