Antrelle Rolle is a burner!!!
NFL | Rolle Has Impressive Workout - from www.KFFL.com
Thu, 3 Mar 2005 14:55:20 -0800
<A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/150"> Inside the League reports Miami CB Antrel Rolle ran in the low 4.4 range (4.41 to 4.42) at the Hurricanes' pro day Thursday, March 3, in Coral Gables, Fla. Considering that his post-40 workout was equally as impressive, and he ran on a slow surface (damp grass), his performance has the potential to move him ahead of West Virginia's Adam Jones as the top cornerback in the draft.
I wonder if that will push him into the top 10?

According to that, he ran a 4.49 and a 4.51 in the forty.
Although his 4.01 short shuttle time shows he does have good quickness, even better so that his teammate and speedster Roscoe Parrish.

Any teams who pass on Rolle for any other DB is gonna be making a mistake.

I agree.I wouldn't mind him as our new FS. A bigger version of Ed Reed.

I actually would still draft him. Play him at safety, then a corner in the nickle package. He's an excellent tackler and overall playmaker. Of course my preference would be to still get someone to actually pressure the QB.

This draft class appears to be loaded at corner. Dallas shouldn't flinch and pass on a good player even if they think they have their starters set.
Rolle should be drafted high. If I'm the Skins, I think long and hard.

You're right. After those STOOOPID pass interference rules last year, a pass rush is ESSENTIAL!

Big deal...
Carlos Rogers ran a 4.35 and a 4.38 at the combine.
Rogers is the taller CB as well at 6ft 3/8 to Rolle at 6ft 1/8.

Dude I think that's a pretty reasonable draft you have there for rounds 1 and 2. I could actually see a draft scenario like that happening
I don't believe in team motivation. I believe in getting a team prepared so it knows it will have the necessary confidence

yea...
Yea Carlos Rogers ran a 4.31, and also got raped by recievers all week before the senior bowl, and in the senior bowl. It doesnt matter how fast you are if you can't turn and run.

I dont know about just moving him to safety. It has a completely different feel than cornerback, you can't always just switch them around. Unless you're Rod Woodson, i can't think of that ever really working.

Thanks. I can't wait 'til all of the pro-days and individual workouts are done. Then we can finally get a better idea of where these guys should be ranked on the draft board.....
