That's pretty strong comment by the Cowboys staff - describing Smith as "remarkably unintelligent" the day before the draft.

Not doubting Archer, but seems strange the Cowboys brass would make a comment like that right before the draft . . . . esp on a player they could possibly use as leverage (worst case scenario).

Well, I do remember Mosley saying in the last couple of weeks that the coaches were concerned that it could take him a while to pick up the schemes. Not the same harsh words, but I suspect they heard that from the same source.

Could be true, of course. I just think JJ would love to engineer a trade back. I expect to be up very late (or should I say very early in the a.m.) Thursday.
