Archuleta can play FS without a problem. He has the athletic ability and the speed to do it. I would be all over that guy. I think Archuleta is a fine NFL Safety.

Ditto that.

So was Woodson in fact, and that worked well with Roy.
Where are these FS? We pedal for Howard and we have no #2 and no #3. Can we draft a FS DAY 2?

I guess my question is Archuleta available or something. Cuz everything I've read is that he's still under contract with the Rams and not going anywhere anytime soon.
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!

In the 2001 combine (I think 2001), Archuleta ran a 4.42 40 and had a vertical of 39. In his personal work out, he was timed a 4.37. I would be all over him if we could sign this guy.

If we keep out 2nd... Bullocks.
If we get Howard, we may have to go with Hunter/Davis/Scott.

I like him but he is a strong safety, I would hope Dallas will be looking for a true free safety

Can anyone say woody or Rivera......
With linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa moving to safety, safety Adam Archuleta trying to overcome a disk injury and defensive end Leonard Little facing legal issues and potential league disciplinary action, there could be many holes to fill.

There are a couple of guys. I think Butler has a chance to slip into the 4th round and there's a kid named Patrick Body that will probably be available but he's more of a developemental type player. He has awsome physical skills and measurables but he's probably not ready to play day one. He could be a very nice player in a year or two though.

According to many on this board it didn't work well. I don't agree with that, but Williams and Archuleta will be a little different than Williams and Woodson. I don't think Archuleta is in the same class as Woody.
Another thread has speculated about drafting Rolle. That is a good option. Another one is drafting Bullokcs. It may take trading down to pick up a 2nd or 3rd round pick. I am not exactly sure where Dallas will find a good cover FS. I just don't think the Cowboys will be willing to trade another draft pick to get another strong safety.
