Thanks...actually, it's because I'm so bad at Photoshop, I couldn't repeat anything even if I WANTED to!

Ya know, I think part of it is generational...I am a musician...I grew up with the Beatles...if they wanted to create a sound, they had to figure out a way to do it...the technology was awful...

Today, any sound you can imagine is sampled on a keyboard...I have a Yamaha Motif in my studio...the sounds are endless...I rarely use any of them...

I think it's the same thing with Photoshop...I'm almost afraid to truly learn it because I don't want to rely on the technology to pull me through...
RIP Santiago

Remember ,If you like the way something comes out with Layer styles ,SAVE THEM..It's alot easier than trying to remember how you did it.

well it's ironic like you said the other day how you can see the preferences in each persons work,it's just as hard here because several people are very good at it, makes people like me feel like the work I do needs alot more imagination. But like you have told me give it time, BTW did you like my RS change better then the original

OH..I always do...but ya know, alot of it is pure experimentation...occasionally it is frustrating to see something in your mind's eye and NOT be able to replicate it...

But...that'll come with time...

I hadn't gone back to look at your RS...

And yep, I do like it more....the problem with a "flat" graphic, ie, one that isn't animated, is that it's hard to convey dimension...or time...

I've always liked the idea of doing as you did..a few pics that are taken several years apart...

If you have the time, try to reduce the opacity of the Navy pic...ya know, ghost it a bit....I'd like to see what it would look like if it was more subtle...
RIP Santiago

Your alot better than I was when I started out..I've been using PS for almost 2 years now.I've had to learn everyting thru tuts and most of the others have only been doing it for a few months and they are at the same spot I am or further..So what does that tell you(lack of imagination)..

I'm just saying you're doing fine..
