I wouldn't mind this, but the only problem is that neither Johnson nor Rolle will be around for their corresponding picks.

this is what i think our d is gonna be
DE Glover
DT Furguson
DE Ellis
OLB Merriman
MLB Nguyen
MLB James
OLB Singleton
RCB Henry
LCB Newman
SS Williams
FS Law
Ty Law is the biggest strech there,That is still a very improved defense from last year!

Thats an ideal 4-3 but we would have zero depth.
I still expect us to go 3-4 at least some to get 1 DL off the field at times.
BP likes Kalen Thornton and Shanle too much not to let them get some game time.
But I still don't know what any team saw Thursday night that would have made them comfortable with waiting a round or two for the offensive lineman they wanted. ---Todd McShay
We just converted half our LB to DL. We have a 30m starting DL, it better be pretty friggin good.

starting O and D
naw were not gonnna completely move to the 3-4 this is it.
DE = Pollack #20, Ellis
DT = Ferg, Glover
OLB = Singleton, James
MLB = Dat
CB = Henry, Newman
SS= Williams
FS= Law
With our second were going to trade up from 11 to get Mike Williams. We will also get a thrid or a 4th because we wont have to go up to many spots and it is a high 2nd. I think we have one more FA signing and it will be a FS dont know if it will be law but it will be a FS.
Our starting O
QB = Bledsoe
RB = Jones
WR = Johnson, Williams, Glenn
TE = Witten
OT = Adams, OT from USC last year i think Rogers
OG = Allen, Rivera
C = Johnson
Richie Anderson should get alot of PT behind Jones and I'm sure dallas will use alot of 2 TE sets. Im sure Keyshawn Johnson will push hard to get them to make that trade up for Williams. He urged Willams to goto USC now he'll urge Parcells to bring him hear

How could we possibly get Pollack at #20 and Mike Williams. If we trade up to get Williams, there is no way we will still have that #20 pick without giving up at least 2 other picks. That would be too much to give up to get him.

Nors is that you??????????
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Actually a better defense would be:
DE - Abraham (better than howard)
DT - Glover
NT - Ferguson
DE - Ellis
OLB - Singleton
MLB - Nguyen
OLB - Johnson, James
CB - Henry
CB - Newman
SS - Williams
FS - Jackson (Rolle won't be at 20).

That group of LB's, for a 3-4, would worry me...Singleton isn't very physical...James was lost last season....Dat is perhaps one of the worst blitzing LB's in the league....and Merriman, while talented, has zero experience.

Abraham is only better than Howard, IF he's on the field. AND not flipping his car of while drunk.
I think Parcells might be able to control him...but Parcells isn't going to be here forever...then what?
I'd rather see Howard here.
I like the rest of your defense though.

our wr corps is so weak its not funny. singleton and james are average, nyguen is good but undersized, and whatever rookie we bring in most likely isn't going to set the world on fire. thats why i know were not going 3-4 fulltime, we'd of added a lb via free agency.. we'd of had too.

Please, say NO to Ty Law. Am I the only one who doesn't want this guy here - even at FS?

I like your lineup, but there is no way we can draft DJ and Rolle.
They won't be there at 11 and 20.
