I may be the only one here that has not given up on Rogers...in fact I think he will become the starting Lt and Flo will move to RT...maybe not on opening day, but by the mid point of the season...at a minimum 2006. Rogers was a stud LT for USC...unless his shoulder falls off he will bounce back and play...
I like the optimism.
I too have not given up on Rogers.
I think you're right that he may not start the season given how long he has been out and unable to even condition properly. But he will get his shot eventually.

I'd sure as hell rather have Keary Colbert....I'd trade Rogers and peterman for him. I'm a huge USC fan, so I'm hoping Rogers develops, but I still think it was stupid to draft a guy with so many shoulder problems to begin with when Colbert was available and we had so many questions about AB going into the season.

Colbert will not be a #1 WR, but he's still going to have a huge career in the NFL, imo.

I didn't have any problem with Peterman's name being called. He'll come back and be a starter.

Every draft day guide listed Rogers' chronic shoulder problems and surgery history.
"Young man, when you throw a strike, Mr. Hornsby will let you know."
Bill Klem when a pitcher questioned a called ball to Rogers Hornsby.

Are we going to start a counter balance thread for all those who want to admit they had no idea what they were talking about when they wanted to draft EJ Henderson instead of Al Johnson?

It seems that all of the "EJ Henderson will be a Pro Bowl player, mark my words" posters have disappeared.

No doubt - Mr. Hunter has been chasing him around all off-season.
