What story about a teammate do you love to tell people?
- via CowboysZone

CW once directed me off the field when I was knocked out on my feet. I did not know where I was.
I remember he and Charlie talking about that at the luncheon they had for their great book.Cliff was all groggy and Charlie told him to follow the yard markers to the sidelines...they both then laughed and Cliff said,"he coulda directed me to the wrong sideline"

cliff could flat uncoil on a player. he did this kinda "jack-knife thing", where he kinda tucked at the waist and then sprung out, right before making contact with the ballcarrier. just a devastating hitter.

Tell me about it.

I'm not sure how that got on there, but it's way too much for me to live up to.

I appreciate the gesture, but I'd rather it go away.

These two ones really made me chuckle.

Default great segment !

Man anytime u have former guys like that it's definitely great. Too bad they don't do that more often. Maybe we ought to have a weekend somewhere in a big city so us diehards and former players get to ask tell and recieve great stories like that . Thanks

I don't know... but I defer to his judgement as he knows a thing or two about picking your shots...

He must see something with his trained eye...

Maybe it's about not always going for the kill shot. Simple tackle vs ending up on "Jacked Up" Just a guess...

BTW, thanks TB for the Q&A... another credit to the board...
Thank you to all donated to the Jason Witten Camp drive!
