Wed, 22 Jun 2005 15:13:24 -0700 Michael Hiestand, of USATODAY.com, reports fantasy football is catching on big-time with some television stations. Fox and ESPN will announce this week that they'll air fantasy football specials. Fox claims its August 28 fantasy show will be the first shown on broadcast network TV. ESPN's first-ever fantasy show, on August 25, will be one element of spreading fantasy elements across its TV, radio, print and online outlets. The NFL Network also plans a show for some time in August. NFL spokesman Dan Masonson said the NFL Network show will be the only fantasy show allowed to use NFL footage. http://www.kffl.com/hotw/NFL?page=1 |
