Default Two more Hurricanes declare

defensive end Olivier Vernon 6-4 #265 a OLB maybe

offensive lineman Brandon Washington

http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/...NFL-Draft.html

OG Brandon Washington: Miami (6-4, 325)

- Has a bit of a mean streak, will finish blocks and plays hard through the whistle.

- Has a ton of upside. Has never really had a chance to just focus on one position and the skill set is there for him to develop his technique at one spot quickly

A thick, naturally strong kid with a muscular set of legs and good girth through the base.

- Possesses good length for his size and has the length to consistently gain leverage into contact.

- Has experience at both guard and tackle and offers some versatility to an NFL offensive line

- Is a naturally powerful kid who can create a push in-line in the run game through contact once he drops his pad level and starts churning his legs. Has the power to overwhelm

If we're looking at OG, think he's there in the 3rd? Or is he more of a 2nd round pick?

some of the guys said he was 2nd rder

but who knows right now

I be looking for him in the 3rd IMO

this what Walters mock say about him

Brandon Washington*, G/OT, Miami
Height: 6-4. Weight: 320.
Projected 40 Time: 5.21.
Projected Round (2012): 4-5

Washington has a nice combination of power and mobility, but belongs on the inside.

Brandon Washington clashed with Miami head coach Al Golden, so he almost had to make this move, even if he's just a borderline third-day prospect.

The Verdict: Good move

really like this kid better

Don Barclay, OT, West Virginia 6-4 #305

Projected 40 Time: 5.16.
Projected Round (2012): 3-5

[10/28/11 Barclay had a quality performance against Marshall's standout pass rusher Vinny Curry. Barclay allowed some pressure, but did not give up a sack. Quarterback Geno Smith helped out his tackle by escaping the pocket and getting the ball out reasonably quickly. Curry may be the best pass rusher Barclay faces all season, so not giving up a sack causes him to be moved into the mid-rounds. Barclay had a harder game against LSU, allowing some heat on the quarterback, but he battled and had his share of wins. Barclay is having a strong senior season who has improved his draft stock

left tackle Don Barclay. Overall, he did a good job in pass protection and gave quarterback Geno Smith time to throw. Barclay gave up a sack in the fourth quarter, but it was a coverage sack. The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder has some quick feet and power. He would be better off moving inside to guard in the NFL and could be a good pick in the middle of the draft.
