Kearse ran a 4.43 before the 1999 draft.

Mortenson is a little biased, being that his son is a qb on Arkansas' roster. Also, Matt Jones has never done anything like what Vince Young did in the Rose Bowl.

Pass the Kool-Aid. I'm down for taking Jones at #20. I can't believe how meteoric this kids rise has been the last few weeks. Can you imagine if we somehow managed to grab Williams at #11 and Jones at #20. OMG! We would have the most unbelievable offensive skill positions in the league. Shore up the o-line with the 2nd round pick (better value there than in the first unles Barron or Barnes falls to #20 - and then you'd risk losing Jones to another team at the top of the second before we pick!).

I would be THRILLED to see this guy with a star on his helmet.

Im also drinking the Kool Aid on this one- 6'6" 240 and runs as fast as anyone in the nfl- that is tremendous potential- he is a player we could take late in round 1 if we trade down from 10 and pick up a late 1st rounder , a second and a fourth.

then you end up with lets say-
20-Jamal Brown
24-lets say- matt jones
42-Daryl Blackstock
46-Marlin Jackson

that would be a very solid draft with starter from day one on three of them- Jones may take a half a season or so to become a starter
