My problem with LeMarcus James, is he willing to play ST. The 3rd RB has to play a majority of the coverage teams and given James prolific college resume, and the emergence of Darren Sprowles as small jack-of-all trades type offensive weapon (running game, passing game and returner) - I can't imagine James wanting to run down on ST and tackle anyone.
That is total my guess, I have no insider knowledge.

You bring up a good point, it was TC's downfall. It's certainly something to consider.

agree love boykin if we get Webb but i would rather have Brandon Carr from KC even if he cost more $

In all fairness to Boykin's he was asked to do a lot at UGA and never perfected the CB position. What he lacks in technique, he makes up for with quickness and speed. He has all the physical attributes to be a great CB. The key for him, we need a solid secondary coach to coach him up and teach him the fundamentals of the position. The kid is one of the best athletes in the draft. He has great feet, hips and is blazing fast. I like him in the 2nd round. He has a HUGE ceiling.

The Giants deserve a ton of credit for drafting him. He only played one season at South FL. He only had 6.5 sacks his Jr year and left early. He had the raw talent and the Giants D-Line coach really coached him up. He sat a lot last year and they are reaping the rewards this year. Had we drafted him, the media and fans would have called him a bust last year.
It looks like a no-brainer now, but they took considerable heat drafting that guy.

Overall good job SDogo
not a fan of many of the proposed FA signinigs except Grubbs
if Boykin's ceiling is that high, it might be OK to take him otherwise we will have the 13th pick of the second round which can be used to pick someone like Poe
not a fan of RB in 3rd who will be #3 RB and not play ST

Let James sit on the inactive list for a year. When Jones leaves after 2012, James can be active in '13. The sixth wr can play special teams.

How could you measure that considering Arkin never played once in the regular season? He was non-injured inactive in every single game.

I like all of the draft picks, it is obvious you put a lot of thought and effort into the players you chose. I love the kid from Northern Illinois, but I don't know if you take him with that early of a pick and I think he could fall into the later rounds.
Webb is going to be pricey, even more so than Carr. He's big and physical and would be my #1 choice for a cornerback, but I don't see Baltimore letting him go.
I consider Sensabaugh more of a SS type, and I don't know how well the guy from Oakland would mesh. We need a ballhawk, and I think one could be had in the draft somewhere. This wouldn't be a problem if we drafted Rahim Moore last year....
Great job.

I don't understand the QB statement.
Kitna is not coming back, not the Cowboys choice. He has to be replaced and Harnish has twice as much upside as McGee.
As far as OC, your likely going to have to get used to the idea of Kowalski or Costa.

I agree with that.
I simply don't see the Cowboys going outside of the present roster to replace both guards and the center. I just don't see it. I can see at most 1 guard being drafted and 1 free agent guard being signed. But that being said, would I be shocked if only 1 guard was brought in from either the draft or as a free agent?
Nope not in the least.

I agree wiith you on the center position . I really want a change , but don't expect one . I wouldn't be surprised if only one guard position is addressed . It may not be addressed with the quality that we expect or want .

SDogo, I agree with much of your vision but a few things I don't
Cuts I think Dallas will stay with McGee as the backup for next year.
I also do not see Dallas drafting a James at RB then again I don't see James lasting until the 3rd rd, even if he did I could not see the Cowboys going after him

Hell yeah.
At this point, I'd take Corky from Life Goes On over Alan Ball at CB.
(Personally, I think I prefer the Minnifield over Boykin because of size.)
