Y'all act like we lost a pro bowl CB in Edwards this year? Seriously,how big of a drop off can Pete Hunter be.

Personally I don't think we can do any worse than Edwards IMHO.

In fact I honestly believe Hunter is going to play extremly well for us after he get's the first few games of butterfly's out of his system and you can quote me on that one.

after Hunter's forearm healed he played very good so i think he will be able to hold his own

Let's see:

Hunter is way faster than Edwards
Hunter is taller than Edwards
Edwards consistently got beaten so Hunter doesn't have to play very well and he's already ahead of him.

I feel with the refs calling more bumping and downfeild penaties this yr., it cetainly seems like an improvement or at least a push. Once Hunter gains experience it will be an upgrade for sure w/ his natual abillity.
What may come into play is that teams have another yr. to figure out our defence and can statigize how to beat it ,considering the stronge safty position ,.
but I feel we will be at least as solid as last yr. and probably better w/ mitchel back.

That may be true - but we still need depth at the position badly.
