Skill player some where between rounds 2 and 4
OK we all know this not a need on this team right now. We also know based on the last couple years that the team has been sticking to their board with some success (Sean Lee, DeMarco Murray) and a highly rated skill player will fall and be too hard to pass up.
So I floating this out there QB, RB, WR or TE. If it happens what position and who do you think it might be. I could see them being very interested in Fleener from Stanford, Adams from Arkansas, Martin Boise State, or Tanneyhill A&M.
If Tanneyhill were there in round 2 might be too hard to pass up. What say you?

I'm not as sold on Ryan Tannehill as some others are.
One skill player I would not mind getting in the mid rds would be TE Michael Egnew

I want Cyrus Gray. Might be a waste with 2 good RBs already, but I think he would be such a good fit in this offense. I expect we let Felix go when his contract's up anyways.
Edit: not sure if he's highly rated enough for the thread topic though. I like what I saw out of Doug Martin.

That said, if we have a first/early 2nd round grade on him, and he falls to use at 45, we'll probably snag him. I agree with you on Egnew.
There's always more to the story.

Sure it could happen if it did I would hope for the best but again not as sold on Tannehill as many others seem to be.

Tannehill is a good prospect but is he great value at 45? I'm not sold on him either.
Garrett to players: Make today a great day; go about the business of winning! If you can't keep up then don't step up.

Would rather get a QB next year.
It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.

I would imagine the plan would be to get one in FA (Hill, Campbell, etc), and that way, we're not forced to take one in the draft.

WR or TE makes some sense depending on what happens with Robinson and Bennett.
A third RB is needed. If one emerges as a BPA pick, I could see the Cowboys drafting him.
Answer for this off-season: Assemble an elite offense.
