I serously doubt that Kirkpatrick falls that far, but if he was available, I'd hope that O-Line help could happen in round two. You could still get a CB in round three. It's a debatable point. Both those picks would be tempting. I still believe that the priority should be to keep Tony upright as much as possible.

Really depends on what we do in Free agency.
If we sign Williams and a Guard, then I guess I wouldn't mind too much.
Kind of reminds me of the 2000 draft where we drafted a bunch of awful corners, but, these two should pan out better.

Yes I would. No such thing as too many corners. Jenkins contract is up next year too. I would love this scenario.

plus you could then use kirkpatrick as a FS, which I think his skillset matches up to very well.

Agreed, almost. We'd need two guards imo (Grubbs and Nicks? ) and a safety.

No, I wouldn't. Both guys have red flags and doing that means we are not addressing two bigger needs, OL and DL.

Yep. Of course you draft BPA always, but I have a hard time believing CB will be the clear value in the first and second rounds.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

Definitely. Then follow it up with 3 or 4 more corners the rest of the draft.
You can never have enough. On a team with serious OL and DL issues, no depth at OLB or ILB, even TE and QB.
The real focus should be on who are 4th, 5th and 6th cornerbacks are on the roster. Because injuries happen and we need to be prepared.

I agree that the 4th, 5th and 6th sould be the focus . Jenkins , Kirkpatrick and Harris would be busy preparing for upcoming trails . Maybe Dallas could get Hurd to come back as an in- house dealer .
