The Dark Knight Rises - Ok...it was good but I honestly do not see it being anywhere near as good as the hype. Definitely not the best movie of the year by any stretch of the imagination. Heck in some ways it was kind of bad. Personally the villain Bain seemed beyond silly to me. For all the hype this movie has gotten it was not even half as good as the last batman and nobody came close to doing as good of a job acting a role as Heath as the Joker. I will go so far as to say that of the three Nolan Batman movies...I would rank this third. Just liked the other two much better.

To be fair to movie...I liked it and maybe it was the case of it being so hyped up by so many people that it just could not live up to my expectations.

No, you're right and I felt the same way. It was good, but not THAT good.

I enjoyed it for what it was, but I thought it could've been much better.

Bernie...7/10

Such a great, dark "mocumentary" based on a true story. Jack Black plays Bernie, a mortician/pastor who befriends a rich old lady. She's hated by everyone in the community, but Bernie is the nicest guy ever, and helps her out with all her chores and things around the house. He kills her, stuffs her in a freezer, and continues to spend her money. So HILARIOUS. Yes, it's a dark-comedy.

Game of Death. 3/5

I hadn't seen the movie since I was pretty young. I didn't realize how much Bruce Lee wasn't actually in the movie. He basically just preformed the several fight scenes at the end of the movie and the Chuck Norris scene at the beginning.

The rest of the time, they would show shots of someone else that was supposed to be Lee and cover his face or not show his face. When they did, it was always at a distance and with sun glasses on.

That was quite disappointing compared to how I remembered the movie as a kid.

There is a good chance that you don't like me, but there is a better chance that I don't care.

If I'm not insulting you, I'm probably not aware that you exist.

Jerry Jones in the draft room is suicide on the football field. The line of scrimmage is EVERYTHING. Something Jerry doesn't understand.

I watched that a couple months back on NetFlix, thinking it'd be good for a laugh or two. Pretty much what it looked to be. Crazy-fun Rednecks hackin' up Zombies. How is that not fun? 6.5/10 from me.

Rotten Tomatoes gave it an 85%... Audience rating of 84%. RT said:
"Tucker & Dale vs Evil is a hilariously gory, good-spirited horror comedy,
doing for killer rednecks what Shaun of the Dead did for zombies." [...]

Heck, when in doubt, make a movie that takes it out on the Zombies. Somebody will watch.

What do Zombies have to do with Tucker and Dale?

Sorry. Got mentally hung up on the "Shaun of the Dead" reference RT used in their review, and misremembered that Tucker and Dale took out the preppy college kids, not Zombies. D'oh!

Ferris Buehler's Day Off - Only caught half, but it was still ridiculously great

American Wedding

8/10

I don't know why I'm just now seeing this movie.. The grandmother in the closet scene, the truffle scene.. I died. lol

I guess I need to get American Reunion in my queue.
