8th place, not bad for not really knowing anything before hand. It helps that I had high picks in each round tho. Would be interesting to see how much changes after the combine tho.

I dont think I did to badly picking 24th in mock draft. I had players i wanted, and they were dropping like flies before i got to pick. Especially some got picked from 1 to 3 picks right before I picked. So, that shows alot of you did your homework and prepared for the draft.

So, all in all i think i did ok.

How does a guy who gets the biggest reach of the draft (taken in the top 10 mind you) end up with a B-?

2(44) Stephon Gilmore CB South Carolina
4(102) Bruce Irvin OLB West Virginia
4(107) Chris Polk RB Washington
4(109) Jamell Fleming CB Oklahoma

Because of these picks.

Gilmore - 34th on my board
Irvin - 67th
Polk - 62
Fleming - 103

I thought DaJohn Harris was kind of a reach.

Risen, if you are in excel, can you plug in a standard deviation formula for all of the grades? I want to see which was the most polarizing.

If people want to post their grades, be my guest. I won't do it unless they want me to.

I'm pretty sure that Lamar Miller pick hurt me a bit...all and all I am pleased with the grade.

Congrats Jon Jon and ABQ, well deserved.

Like RS said at the outset, these grades mean very close to absolutely nothing right now.
So none of us can pat ourselves on the back for something of zero value.

Grade these drafts in three years and we'll know who drafted best.

In any case, this was a lot of fun!
Thanks for putting it on.

lol, the Falcons got an F? Clearly some people don't know how to grade a draft.

They addressed two major needs with very limited resources. I didn't give them a 10 or anything obviously, but clearly some people failed to weigh resources, needs and opportunity in their grades.

Not everyone had two 1sts or the resources to get there. They could have gone Tiny Toons and started trading next years picks, but they didn't. I think they played it well.
We need wins, and that's all we need. I don't give a damn about anyone on this roster over wins. I'd trade Ware, Lee and Dez if it meant more wins.

Every year I stress keeping in mind the ammo each GM inherited through our blind draft, but this stuff still happens.

I gave him a 7. I like both players and at both spots. I also like that he refrained from giving up future picks to make up for lacking picks this year.

This is why I include the remaining selections and original selections, as well as any gained or lost future picks, in with the draft classes you look at when grading. That matters. Or at least it should.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

I don't know. I think this proves I'm a guru.

I think the Saints were robbed with ther grade. They deserved much better. Lewis, Martin and Cole are great picks.
