Default Today in Cowboys History: April 2

Apr 2 - Media: "Dallas" begins thirteen year primetime run on CBS (1978); Re-signed: Cory Procter (2009); Released: Flozell Adams & Ken Hamlin (2010)

Trivia: (1) Nate Newton wasn't the only Cowboy with USFL connections -- on this day in 1986, the Cowboys opened negotiations with a USFL team for this player; his Cowboys career was short, but his place in Cowboys history is assured. Who is he and what is his claim to fame as a Cowboy? (2) The original opening credits for "Dallas" had a connection with the Cowboys -- what was it? (3) What was Flozell's nickname?
