So, you think that the Sox are going to beat the Yankees what, twice? Your also thinking that the O's are going to beat the Rays at least twice. Are you thinking with your head here or your heart?

I think the Yankees take the east just because they are playing the Redsox and the Os have to play the Rays.
I bet the AL East is hoping we sweep the As, though that isn't likely. The As are the best team in baseball right now.

I think the Yankees have a better chance as well. The Rays are coming on and the O's get them on the road. The Yanks have Boston at home so I think advantage is Yankees there.
As for the A's, no I think you are wrong. I think the East is hoping the A's sweep the Rangers. If that happens, it's likely that one of the two AL East team ends up with the best record in the AL and Home Field.

Wow, are the Rangers really going to blow this after leading the entire season and see the division slip away on the last game of the year and getting swept to boot?

It's game 6 of the World Series all over again. You don't want this one to go down to a winner takes all game on the road but it's looking like it. The A's are just too good...they're my pick to win the whole thing

Holy meltdown! Had not been keeping up with this race the past week, just assuming the Rangers had it locked up. They are doing darn near what my Braves did last year, with the exception being the Braves missed the playoffs entirely on the last day (hello St. Louis)...
I would not be surprised if Oakland wins it all this year just as the Cardinals did last season by just sneaking into the playoffs.
Wow.

The way the Rangers are playing right now, it's pointless for them to even enter the playoffs. Their offense is nonexistent. They couldn't fight there way out of a paper bag.

Anything can happen, but the best team in the AL looks a lil shaky right now. This thing is wide open and there is no favorite.

I used to think the Mavericks were the biggest choke job of a team I ever saw until this group of Rangers came along. In first place all year only to be tied at game 162 is unreal. It's like game 6 of the world series again. They just can't put teams away it big moments whether it's one game or a season. Don't know why that is or how to fix it.
Go ahead make my season!
Dallas Cowboys record from 1996 to now. (including playoffs)
Wins
136
Losses

Seems like teams in the DFW find new ways to choke every year.

Well whatever happens, I will be watching. In fact, this afternoon game gives me a WONDERFUL excuse to skip out of work early today.
Rooting for the Rangers...hopefully the offense returns for this last game of the regular season.
