I can't believe you guys miss this about Broyles. Talk about going unnoticed.
On October 15, 2011, Broyles broke the all-time FBS career reception record (317)
Holds NCAA record catches w/ 349

I don't think there is any chance he gets passed the Browns in the 3rd unless and maybe even if they go Blackmon. He is too perfect for a young QB. A great, quick, athletic guy with glue for hands and the guts to go get the ball.
He would be perfect for this team too.

I would love to see us "get" Broyles with our supplemental 4th round pick, as the talking heads have him going in the 4th/5th round. I personally think Broyles will be one of those guys who will probably go a lot earlier than the talking heads think he will go.
When Broyles goes earlier than expected the guys like Kiper and Mayock, et. al. will say "This is a guy who had definite first round talent but was expected to fall due to the 4th or 5th round due to his injury concerns. He has the talent, and it looks like the (insert team name here) did their home work on his injury rehab and felt like his injury was a non factor. If that's the case, then they got great value with this pick. A first round talent in the (insert round here ----maybe as high as the second) round.
In this case, I don't mean "talking heads" in a derogatory sense. I think Kiper has more knowledge than the average fan, but doesn't work as hard on it as he used to. I personally think that Mayock is at the top of the pyramid in terms of his knowledge and analysis. He is as good as there is at what he does. That doesn't mean that he isn't ever wrong, but when he talks, people should listen. For Cowboyszoners ..... think of him like we look at AdamJt13 on salary cap matters.

I don't even know if he has first round talent. I'm not so sold on him as a pro prospect, at least not as a top guy. Here as the third best, okay.

We better not waste a pick on an injured wideout.

I'd love it if we get Broyles, too. Let the fun begin come the Draft.

He's already been running full speed. He's got a workout scheduled for April 12th. He hurt his knee in the first week of November. By the time the rookie mini camps start ti will have been 6 months since the surgery. I see no reason why he won't be ready for the start of training camp. It was a non contact injury where his leg got caught in the turf. It wasn't some Leonard Weaver/Willis McGahee injury where a defender dov einto his knee and it hyper-extended 90 degrees straight backwards and his knee exploded into 20 different pieces.

OU fan here.
We've had some great WR's over the past decade at OU... Mark Clayton, Mark Bradley, Travis Wilson, Brandon Jones, Antwone Savage, Josh Norman, Kenny Stills... but to me, Ryan Broyles is the best of them all. He's an ideal slot WR. Quick, catches everything (#1 all time in NCAA receptions-- would have killed that record if not for his injury), tough as nails. I hated losing Laurent Robinson. But if we could get Broyles as our #3 option in the slot with Austin and Dez outside, I think we'd be looking really, really good.

Looks pretty elusive to me and has great hands, if you can get this guy in the 4th, would be a steal IMHO.
