I'd say that the player would be Peter Konz.
And I would applaud the move wholeheartedly.
If you can get 2-3 quality starters out of this draft I would be thrilled.
I am a 'quality over quantity' fan myself.

I think we're more likely to trade up into the early part of the 2nd rather than the late first.
If Konz is still around in the 35-40 range, I can see us making a deal. Unless we want to get Max Unger'd again.

I've said time after time that I fully expect this to happen
Konz
Poe
Upshaw
Kirkpatrick
Mcllelin
Probably another 3-4 names that we can come up with that are viable options...
Somebody we LOVE is going to fall to the 25 range and we will pounce. I just don't know who

I would guess it would be for Fleener or a DL if we take Barron.

I could see us possibly trading up in the second for a guy like Branch. Konz could also be a target.

If we did trade up I'd hope it would be for zeitler not konz. I'd rather stay put and grab blake later in the draft though.

My bet is Hightower. It was going to be a my final mock, but I don't have time.
If we could get Barron and Hightower with our first two picks I would be ecstatic!

i'd say there's a less than 5% chance we trade back into round 1.

If we select Brockers and Konz is there late in the first or early in the 2nd, I would suspect Jerry would be on the phones.
At that moment a voice came over me and said, Look up, get up, and don't ever give up. You tell everyone or anyone that has ever doubted, thought they did not measure up or wanted to quit, you tell them to look up, get up and don't ever give up. - Michael Irvin

I would too, we can grab a CB and a TE in the later rounds
