WTB: Cheap laptop
I have a series of old computer games that I really like which are not compatible with my current computer. I don't really want another tower so I'm looking for a laptop running XP, with a Pentium 4, 2 GHz and 512 mb RAM.
I think the problem running them on my current vista machine is the graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 6150se, nForce 430) but I'm not sure. What happens is that the game screen "wraps around". It's like the screen is cut into thirds and the right hand third is wrapped around to the left side of the screen. Therefore, an older card or might be better. Anyone got one in good condition that they want to sell cheap? |
