7 Round mock draft by Todd McShay
At ESPN draft page:
Never really liked McShay's mocks, but since it hasn't been posted yet (or at least I couldn't find it), here are the Cowboy picks:
14. Mark Barron, S
45. Janoris Jenkins, CB
81. Joe Adams, WR
113. Akiem Hicks, DT
135. James Hanna TE
152. Senio Kelemete G
186. Chris Rainey RB
222. Tim Fugger OLB

In a shrewd business move, Jerry doesn't offer a Janoris Jenkins jersey in 2012. Instead, he waits for Mike Jenkins to leave via free agency next year, and gives 21 to Janoris Jenkins.
"Can we get Drew Bledsoe back out here just for a week, so you guys can fall back in love with Tony? Let's sign Drew Bledsoe back for a week. Because sometimes when you have a pretty girl for so long, you forget how pretty she is. But when you put an ugly girl next to her, 'Oh, no, I'm really doing well.' And maybe we need to bring Drew back, so we can back to 'Oh, no, we're really doing well.'"

I'd be okay with that minus Jenkins. I'd rather take josh Robinson.

I can't see Garrett drafting J Jenkins at CB.

Ehh. I do like the Jenkins pick in the 2nd would love it in the 3rd. no way we take a RB in this draft, maybe UDFA but not a flier. Hicks pick seems weird also. I really do not like barron in the first. I have man crush on Hightower and with the way Ravens radio is gushing over him so do they. I would love Decastro or a small trade down and grab hightower and experiment with carter at OLB.
For those of you that were "offended" by last 2 sigs this one is for you.

SDogo's board has him 5th-6th round.
NFLDraftScout has him 3rd-4th round.
I have never seen a round 7 grade on him.

I'd be willing to bet Hicks is off the board by the end of round 4.
He's got too much upside to last much longer than that.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

I think it was sideline scouting that had him projected as a 7th rounder.

Someone brought it up a couple of days ago that his measurments are on par with Brockers. For someone who is a 'talent' in Brockers based on his physical tools, one would think that Hicks is a poor man's version. SDogo has gone on here and said he's off the Cowboys board though. Along with Chris Rainey.

Well said as far as a poor mans version of Brockers. That seems spot on. I guess his popularity would warrant a higher pick. I have no problem with him being off the Cowboys board.

Wow.
Jenkins is very talented, but that is a roll of the dice. I think Ryan would have to really sell that to JG.
