Default KC and SD are 2 teams the Cowboys spoke to...

Ed Werder just reported the teams the Cowboys have spoken with about trading up and trading down. Kansas City to trade up and San Diego to trade down.

Depending who is there at 14, I wouldn't mind a small trade down with SD to 18 and an extra 3rd.

That's especially true if we have 3-4 guys rated about equally (which may actually be the case from what I can gather).

Kansas City does not surprise me. KC reported in a few places interested in Barron. Dallas reported most every where high on Barron and now KC and Dallas talking trade. hmmm

To trade up to #11 it would cost us #81 and we would most likely get a 5th or 6th back. If that's what I took to get Barron I wouldn't mind it considering we got an extra 4th this year.
At that moment a voice came over me and said, Look up, get up, and don't ever give up. You tell everyone or anyone that has ever doubted, thought they did not measure up or wanted to quit, you tell them to look up, get up and don't ever give up. - Michael Irvin

Trading partners with SD?

Interesting since they both want Barron. Wonder who else SD has in mind.

Makes sense.

As for a trade up; it would be for Cox, not Barron. If KC wanted Barron, they why would they trade with a team that also wanted him?
Plus coachspeak just said he has info saying we would only want Barron in a trade down scenario.
I could not see going up for him anyway. but JMO

True. Would obviously be done because Barron is off the board. SD wants defense I assume. Would they trade up for Brockers? Poe?

SD needs pass rushers and could use a WR like Michael Floyd if he fell.

I really hope this kind of information isn't accessible to the media.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

I would love the trade back to #18. There will be some quality players there.

Me neither. 81 could be a valuable pick this year.

that is a bad move,a 3rd rder should ideally be a starter for us down the line,we are not that deep to be throwing away 3rd rd picks.

I think we would likely move down in the 2nd to recoup that pick.

Yeah, not too far down to miss out but still could pick up an extra pick.
