Kyle Orton is not the future starter once Romo is done. I like that we have Orton as the back up, but he signed a 3yr deal.

He'd be great value in the 4th, to be honest. But, the next round is pretty deep with decent talent that we could use on a player that would probably contribute long before Cousins ever would. Orson Charles, Jared Crick, Phillip Blake, Ta'Amu.

Just too many guys to pass up for teh sake of a developmental QB. You never know, though. Had Andy Dalton lasted until our 2nd round pick last season, Garrett is alreadly on record that he would have been the pick. With two 4th rounders we might pull the trigger on a a guy like Cousins.

Not only that, it's just a matter of time before Romo signs an extension, also.
