He is only 28. I wouldn't write him off, yet. I wouldn't spend too much on him. Like you said, worth it to kick the tires, IMO.

JMO.

But, to each his own opinion. We've all got 'em.

Oh, OK, Clint.

Even I have to actually agree with most here, and that rarely happens. NO

He's got plenty of tires to kick.

He had a lot to prove on other teams also. How did that work out?

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

When a player signs a mega-contract, say in the $70-$100 million dollar range, and undermines himself, it is no longer a matter of him proving himself. It is totally a matter of comprehending what the heck is wrong with him--starting with the player himself.

Everyone else has already said it, but take it from a Tennessee Vol and guy who lives in Nashville, no. You don't want him now.

Why not just toss Leon Lett some pads and tell him to get in there? Or better yet, let's go with a NT even smaller than Rat and Put Dan Bailey there?
