Default I Bought This Sports Magazine called Pro Football Weekly..

Called Pro Football Weekly. Saw Romo on the cover and figured hey maybe they'll actually write some good stuff about Tony and the Cowboys. Boy was I wrong. I open it and these idiots have Romo ranked #13 at his position behind the likes of Michael Vick, Jay Cutler, and Matt Ryan. He wasn't even in the top 50 of overall player rankings. Then I looked at the team rankings and the Cowboys weren't even in the top 15.

What a waste of 8 bucks.

and Romo ranked #91 of all NFL players on the NFL Network countdown. Maybe things like these will make the Cowboys play with a chip on the shoulder attitude

Romo is at worst the #8 qb in the nfl. Depending on where the have the Cowboys ranked outside the top 15 I really dont have a problem with that. It would be hard to ranked them to far above 15.

Someone should call them and provide them with the following info:

Say what you want about your offensive concerns from last year, the interior of the offensive line, Bryant’s alleged inconsistent play, injury to Miles Austin, injuries to the top two running backs, the inability to run the ball into the end zone (franchise-low five rushing touchdowns), the Cowboys still averaged 23 points a game – only 1.5 points less a game than the NFC East, er, Super Bowl champion Giants.

There's no right way to do the wrong thing.

To compete for the playoffs, Dallas has to improve here: Only four sacks against Eli Manning over the past six games!

They roped you in on the cover. Those things have regional covers so the same Pro Football Weekly in Seattle will have Matt Flynn on it but the magazine is the same.

The consensus is Romo is around 7 or 8 in all the other ones so don't worry about it. Winning takes care of a lot of that stuff.

That mags been around a long time. When there was no ESPN, internet, sports radio or directTV, that was like the Bible to football fans.
Now-a-days its dated by the time it hits the news stands. Those mags were usually wrong on a lot of stuff way back then.....so really no much has changed.
I used to save them for most of the season because they did have a lot of useful information.
God, I miss the pre-FA days. When football was a game played by men who didn't party after plays when their teams were losing.
Insanity by Albert Einstein: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

The thing that Cracked me up was the ranking for Brandon Carr... They gave him a ranking with (D) meaning starting to decline or declining in his career... Give me a break he just finished his rookie contract...

Why in the world would you buy a magazine when you obviously have access to the Internet? Do you honestly think there would be some information in that magazine that you wouldn't get here or 1000 other places? I haven't even looked at the cover of one of those rags in at least 10 years. What's the point when you can go home and get on the Internet?

That mag is older than you. Live and learn young'un.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I thought you could read/scan the magazines before you bought them?
