Fingers crossed.

One of the problems with the mentality of fans is that our team can't be too good even at any position. It's the defense against being a homer syndrome.
Imagine getting the two fastest people in the world to run on your 4x100 relay team. Fans would immediately come to the conclusion that one of these guys is no longer eligible for the rank of #1 or #2.
Miles Austin was a top 5 receiver in 2009, in 2010 he was on pace to maintain that, then Romo got hurt. In 2011 he was highly productive while he was healthy. Somehow now, he is no longer an elite receiver.
Dez Bryant is arguable more talented than Miles Austin, but somehow if Dez is able to put everything together that has to be at the cost of Austin's abilities.
It doesn't work like that, there are teams like St. Louis, Indianapolis, and Arizona that should have shown us that much.
DeMarco Murray was 2nd in yards per attempt last year. tied for 1st among running backs.
Felix Jones came in 21st. 18th among running backs.
Yet we were 9th in rushing yards per attempt. Why is that? Well Morris, Tanner, and especially Choice did NOT run well.
We have an opportunity to be much better this year.
