Default Ran Into Andre Gurode

As I was coming back from Arkansas, I stopped at the Valero off of 121 and Main Street there in The Colony. When I got done putting fuel in my car, I noticed this black man about 6'4'' on the other side of the pump clad in black Nike attire with black Nike flip flops. He looked familiar.

I peered around the other side of the pump and he looked at me while on his cell phone and said, "Can I help you?"

"Oh, hey, Mr. Gurode."

That was it. He said hello back. I was tired. He was on the phone. I didn't feel like cavorting and pestering him about what he's been up to or Costa or why he's in the Metroplex. Ex-football players are people too.

C'mon, emp, you dropped the ball.

You should have dropped something on the ground and when he bent over to pick it up for you, run around behind him and yell "HUT!"

If it went well, you could have called Jerry.

Gurode probably would have snapped it over his head.

Should have asked how his knees were.

You should've told him you were going to step on his face like Haynesworth did. Just make sure somebody was cell phone recording it.

I'm kidding, by the way.

Is it bad that I miss him?

Gemini Dolly's twitter

QB Tony Romo has played 4 "Win or Go Home" games since 2008 (includes 2 playoff gms) -- in 3 of them, his QBR was less than 20"

Nice advice, you might as well tell him to go play in traffic
