Default Need a pick at #20 for Dallas in a mock

Hey... got dallas in a mock i'm doing on a different site... a bumus to surfing other teams sites sometimes.

I took Merriman at #11... it was him or Derrick Johnson. I liked the pick.

I'm at 11 and I'm leaning strongly towards Ware. BUT....
there are other options i wanted tot hrow around to you guys.

Spears is still there right now he's my 2nd choice though... i think ware is the next Freeney, the value is too good.

Roddy white is the best WR left... Clayton and Williamson gone.

Carlos Rogers is there.

Barron, Davis, Johnson and Pollack are gone....

Anyway... I'm not going OT. And it's a 2 round so i'll go FS then maybe...not Poodle.

I say it's Ware versus Spears..... thoughts?

Spears makes more sense.

Ware and Merriman are too similar, while Spears can play 4 spots for you. He can play either DE spot and spell Glover in the 4-3 and play DE in the 3-4.

Ware go for the pass rush
I had an apartment and I had a neighbor, and whenever he would knock on my wall I knew he wanted me to turn my music down and that made me angry 'cause I like loud music... so when he knocked on the wall, I'd mess with his head. I'd say, "Go around! I cannot open the wall! I dunno if you have a doorknob on your side but over here there's nothin'. It's just flat."

Either Spears or Ware would be good...Spears is more of a sure thing.

I admit ... Spears makes more sense if you are using Merriman as a 3-4 OLB/DE tweener.

but my gut tells me we are sticking to a 4-3. even if we switch partially for now... what happens a year or 2 years from now? think we will stick to the 3-4 even after Parcells is gone.

It bothers me to take a guy who is too small to play DT full time and too slow to be a true edge rushing DE.

If i was sold we were going 3-4 it's be spears but i'm tempted to go with Ware at DE and move Merriman to OLB full time. Ellis needs to get off the field more anyway.

How is a guy that is 305 pounds too small? He's bigger than Glover and the same size as Ferguson.

Pressure ! Pressure! Pressure! Go w/ Ware!!! Having Merriman and Ware would allow so much flexibility to your defense (can definitely play a hybrid 4-3). They both should be better at getting to the QBs than Spears......

First of all I think you should have taken DJ at #11, but others may disagree (it's one of those "could go either way" things) and I would say take Marcus Spears with the #20. Shawne Merriman can play DE in the 3-4 and he could play LB in the 4-3. Spears could play DT in the 4-3 and play DE in the 3-4. That would give us the ability to do a part 4-3 and part 3-4 defense and I am starting to think that this will happen. I also wouldn't be that upset if we took Roddy White there. I wouldn't support a Carlos Rogers pick because we already have Henry. If you were going to take an OT here I would love Jammal Brown. He would immediately solve our problems at RT.

Just to sum things up in this mock draft I would have Dallas, at #20, taking Marcus Spears.

Hope I helped.
