agreed. He reminds me of Romo in how he avoids pressure while scanning his progressions. very mature rookie.

Maybe, but the Saints defense is terrible. Also, I saw a lot of short passes from RG3. I'll reserve judgement for now. He's neither good nor bad.

He is good...
But he's also going to learn a lesson when he plays the Cowboys.

He played great. Got to hand it to him, going down to NO and coming away with a victory. Maybe they will finish third in the division now with Philly looking up

His 1st TD was an accident. He wasn't intending to throw to Garcon. He was intending to throw to the receiver behind Garcon, who was in double coverage. The second TD the receiver was streaking right in front of him wide open in the endzone. I could have made that pass.
Good start for a rookie, but those two plays weren't particularly impressive.

We'll see how he reacts to pressure as the season goes on the Saints don't really have much in the way of a pass rush either that or the Skins OL is suddenly good.
Really impressed with Griffin thought that has to be one of the best first games for a rookie QB ever at least in the once i have seen

I'm afraid he'll wind up being a really tough competitor for a long time as well. But it is just one game against a team who I wouldn't call world beaters on defense.
But none the less he made plays.

He showed skills but I'm more interested in his body's response to the hits he will take. Shanny was calling those option and qb run plays; he took a couple of nice hits in game 1

Strong arm. Accurate. Mobile. Poised. Only one game, but really impressive.
Whatever you think of Romo, the Cowboys should have considered trading up for Griffin. It is going to be awhile before any team is going to give up such a high pick with such a talented qb prospect sitting there. Instead, it looks like we'll be chasing the guy for the next decade-plus.

He had a good game against a team that is a mess at the present time. It is no reason to crown him yet. Chances are, he will be a good player, but one game does not prove it. Let's see what he is doing at the end of the season, next season and five years from now.

The kid put on a show didn't he?
Very impressive.
The Saints defense– I simply don't know.
The Redskins came out and RG3 was 6 for 6 without throwing a ball across the LOS. He was throwing exactly the same type of passes he did at Baylor. The Saints looked completely unprepared on defense.

He made some nice plays. That stick throw to Garcon was nice but the defense broke down to allow the score.
It was a good debut made better by a really bad defensive effort. He's got a long way to go before I'm crowning him.
Ryan Leaf looked good in his first couple of starts. That's not to compare but to remind that you shouldn't be quick to label him anything yet.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

The rivalry between Dallas and Washington will reheat. RGIII is good. Not just good, very good.
