Larry Allen and Jonathan Ogden on the left side... OMG imagine those two on the same offensive line!

I would probably agree.

Even as great as those seasons where, I can't see a guy getting in based on 3 years no matter how good they are.

He looked really good to start the season after those 3 monsters but didn't finish the year.

If Terrell Davis hasn't made it in yet, the door is closed for Priest Holmes.

Two of his records as quarterback still stand: most seasons leading the league in passing (six; tied with Steve Young) and most seasons leading the league with the lowest interception percentage (five). He is also third in highest single-season completion percentage (70.33), most seasons leading the league in yards gained (four) and most seasons leading the league in completion percentage (seven).

As a punter, Baugh retired with the NFL record for highest punting average in a career (45.1 yards), and is still second all-time (Shane Lechler 46.5 yards), and has the best (51.4 in 1940) and fourth best (48.7 in 1941) season marks. As a defensive back, he was the first player in league history to intercept four passes in a game, and is the only player to lead the league in passing, punting, and interceptions in the same season. Baugh also led the league in punting from 1940 through 1943.

Here is a kicker you would actually have liked [if he hadn't played for the Redskins, that is].

Why is McNair even on the list?

He's good enough to be on the list but not great enough to be a HOFer

What is the point of the HOF if everybody gets in? You should have to the be the best of the best of the best. Priest Holmes?

I might be wrong, but I don't think Jones played guard, ann tackle, on both sides of the line, like Larry did.

IIRC, Allen started off on right side at guard, was left tackle and left guard etc

The man was a beast and best of all time.

Loved Priest Holmes.

I liked him enough to own his jersey back in the day. One of the only non Cowboys I have honored as such (Ricky Williams, Peyton Manning and Holmes). Definitely not a Hall of Famer though.

Haley will never make it ... he was too much of a D-Bag to the media.
**** JJ 2013 Draft Board ****
1) RB ... gotta get a felix replacement
2) DB ... need to replace Jenkins
3) WR\TE ... need more offense

The Raiders had that in the 70s with Art Shell and Gene Upshaw.

That was why I said Sapp and Strahan will get in imo because THEY ARE a part of the media and use television to stay relevant. They are working with people who has influence on who goes in the HOF.

It is about your contributions and impact on a team but it is also about your relationship with the media. If media relationships weren't a part of the voting, Haley and Lloyd should of been in the HOF.
